Kevin Konort, M.Ed.

Kevin Konort, M.Ed., is a Research Assistant at edCount, LLC. Mr. Konort provides support to associates and senior staff in the execution of project tasks, research activities, report production, and proposal development. He has a wide range of experience in school settings, including as a special education classroom assistant, assisting teachers in administering reading, writing, and mathematics lessons to students with significant cognitive disabilities.

Prior to joining edCount, Mr. Konort worked as a curriculum developer during an internship with the Music Resource Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. He designed curriculum for a high school Music Industry Technology course and created a comprehensive guide with information on all units and lessons in the course. Mr. Konort also worked as a Data Analyst with the Levine School of Music where he gained experience in data analysis and visualization. In his master’s program, he studied how developmental processes influence learning, performance, and behavior in educational settings. Mr. Konort earned his M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from Christopher Newport University.
